I turned the water on at this home. I then went through the home to see if anything had been left on. To my surprise I found this toilet in the Master bedroom. Water was pouring onto the floor. The bowl fill tube and the flapper were both missing. With the bowl fill tube missing the water hits the lid and runs over the edge of the tank and onto the floor. With the flapper missing the tank never fills up and shuts the water off. Just think what would happen if someone turned the water on and didn't go inside to check everything. I have seen one or the other broken or missing, but never both missing at the same time. It could be a coincidence, but I doubt it.

I was at an inspection last month, the inspector turned on the dishwasher to let it run, left the room to inspect other things and all of a sudden water gushed out all over the kitchen floor.

Cathrine, I have had some dishwashers leak during use, but not a gusher yet. Yet being the keyword. I try to bring two towels just incase aomething like that happens.
It seems like it is sabotage to me. Was this property a foreclosure?
Bob, It was vacant and bank owned, so most likely it was a foreclosure.
